@#@@#@內容簡介(中文)@#@ 黃居璧(西元一八九八-一九九一年),廣東南海人。原名韞之,別名允瑄,二十餘歲後以君璧字行。初從李瑤屏遊,廣泛臨摹古今名畫,並於楚庭美術院研習西畫。好遊歷,足跡遍及海內外名山大川,故能傳統與造化兼治。民國五十六年,曾受贈「畫壇宗師」榮銜。
本幅春夏秋冬四景屏,構圖大皆借鏡前賢,並略增添潤飾,再以黃氏本色之筆墨設色技法融鑄其中,表現山蒼莽渾厚之氣息。為黃氏平生佳作。
此四幅為黃君璧先生捐贈。

As a youth, he was immersed in the arts, copying many famous paintings of past and present. He also studied Western painting at the Ch’u-t’ing Academy of Art. An avid traveler, he was able to fuse tradition and creativity in his works. In 1967, he was honored with the title of “Master of Painting”.
These four paintings of landscapes in the four seasons were donated by Huang Chun-pi himself to the Museum. The compositions are mostly mirrored after those of the ancient masters but with the addition of some changes. Huang also combined them with his own brush and coloring techniques, thereby conveying a rich, solid atmosphere and representing a pinnacle in his art career.
@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@Huang Chun-pi (original name Yun-chih, alternate name Yun-hsuan, and later went by his style name Chun-pi) was a native of Nan-hai, Canton. As youth, Huang studied under Li’Yao-p’ing and he was able to view and copy many ascient and modern masterpiees. He also studied Western painting at the Ch’ut’ing Art Acdemy. He also traveled exeensively and was able to visit famous scenic sites around the world. He was thus able to broaden his vision and add a modern touch to traditional techniques. In 1947, he was honored with the title of “Master of Painting ” by the goverument.
This work is comprised of four panels representing the four seasons. The compositions follow mostly after those of previous masters, but with slightly more decorative effects. Combined with the artist’s ability to fuse elements fof brushwork and coloring, he was able to convey a rich and hoary atmosphere.
This set of four scrolls represents a masterpiece from the hand of Huang Chun-pi and was donated to the Museum by the artisst himself.
