@#@@#@內容簡介(中文)@#@ 金城(一八七八-一九二六年)出身吳興世家,自幼對美術興趣濃厚。曾赴英國學習法律,民國後擔任議員,定居北京。他倡設古物陳列所,為本院成立的基礎。一九二○年與陳師曾等,組中國畫學研究會,並兩度赴東京展出作品。以臨摹古畫為功底,本次展出山水冊頁設色淡雅,是以明代吳派風格為對象的仿古小品。各開畫面右側有顧湛澄書題,對頁還有顧湛澄畫與其他書家題字。為林宗毅先生捐贈。@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@Chin Ch’eng, born to a well-to-do family in Wu-hsing, showed an early interest in art. In 1902. He went to England and studied law. After returning, he was a legislator in the early Republic, settling in Peking. He proposed establishing an office for the display of objects from the Ch’ing palaces, serving as the foundation for the Palace Museum. In 1920, he helped establish the Traditional Chinese Painting Science Society, traveling twice to Tokyo to exhibit his works. Also a good copier of old painting, this display has 4 of his landscape album leaves. Each on the right is inscribed by Ku Chan-ch’eng with an opposing painting by him and writing by others. These small, finely colored works donated by Mr. Lin Tsung-I follow the Ming dynasty Wu School style.
