@#@@#@內容簡介(中文)@#@蕭俊賢(西元一八六五-一九四九年),字厔泉,初名稚泉,號鐵夫,又號天和逸人,湖南衡陽人。初從岳麓僧蒼崖及沈詠蓀習畫,從四王入手,復能突破藩籬,自樹別幟,人稱〝蕭派〞,在清末民初的畫壇享有很高的聲望。山水四幅,分別取意自趙令穰、曹知白、吳鎮、趙孟頫等畫風,筆墨功深,清逸靜雅。為七十一歲時所作。
蔡辰男先生捐贈。@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@Hsiao Chun-hsien, style name Chih-ch’uan, early name Chih-ch’uan, and sobriquets T’ieh-fu and T’ien-ho I-jen, was a native of Heng-yang,, Hunan. In his early years, he studied painting with the Yueh-lumonk Ts’ang-yai and Shen Yung-sun. He achieved the manner of the “Four Wangs”, but was able to go even further to form a branch of his own, which was called the “Hsiao School”. He enjoyed prestige in the late Ch’ing and early Republican period.
These 4 landscape paintings take from the styles of the Sung and Yuan artists Chao Ling-jang, Ts’ai Chih-po, Wu Chen, and Chao Meng-fu. The brush and ink are quite skillful while untrammeled and refined. This work, done by Hsiao at the age of 70, was donated by Mr. Ts’ai Chen-nan.
