This painting depicts a remote river route with a line of ridges and distant peaks enveloped in clouds and mists. A lone skiff appears on the river, its sail raised as it travels from the mountains. The desolate peaks and serenity of the painting create for a profound atmosphere.
Mr. Ma Han-pao donated this painting to the National Palace Museum in 1980.(20110204)
