內容簡介(中文)@#@陳成(1891-1973),字志賡,嵊縣城內人。曾入光復會,曾任第一屆立法委員。幼年孤,由祖母王太夫人(1838-1917)撫養。祖母過世後葬於西山,臨終時陳成因奔走國事,未能侍服,深感哀痛。丁丑年(1937)陳氏任知瑞安縣長,適逢祖母百齡冥誕,隔年請唐肯(1876-1950)繪圖追念;甲申(1944)並請余紹宋(1883-1949)繪圖。
本卷引首為林森(1868-1943)題,拖尾題識者多達三十一人,其中包括許世英(1873-1964)、于右任(1879-1964)、吳敬恆(1865-1953)等。
陳成先生捐贈於民國六十一年。
(20120106)@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@ Chen Cheng (1891-1973) (style name Zhigeng) was a native of Shengxian. He joined the Guangfu revolutionary society and later served in the first legislature of the Republic of China. Orphaned as a child, he was brought up by his grandmother, Madame Wang (1838-1917). After his grandmother died, she was buried at Xishan. Because Chen was busy in state matters, he could not attend her funeral, bringing him much grief. In 1937, while serving as County Magistrate of Rui’an, he commemorated the centennial of his grandmother’s birth by Chinese reckoning and in the following year asked Tang Ken to do an illustration in her memory, in 1944 also asking Yu Shaosong to paint.
The frontispiece of this handscroll has an inscription by Lin Shen (1868-1943), and at the end are inscriptions by 31 individuals, including such respected figures as Hsu Shih-ying (1873-1964), Yu You-jen (1879-1964), and Woo Tsin-hang (1865-1953).
Mr. Chen Cheng donated this painting to the National Palace Museum in 1972.
