內容簡介(中文)@#@戴傳賢(1890-1949)名良弼,字季陶。浙江吳興(今湖州)人。 早年留學日本學習法律,並參與革命。歷任中國國民黨中央執行委員、中央政治委員、國民政府委員、考試院院長等職。著有《孫文主義之哲學的基礎》及《國民革命與中國國民黨》等書。晚年精研佛學,曾赴印度訪問。
本幅行書節錄《大方廣佛華嚴經普賢行願品》,結字體勢源自北碑,筆法變化多,線條流動,別有一番清雅格調。
李直方先生捐贈於民國85年。(20110204)@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@ Dai Chuanxian (original name Liangbi, style name Jitao) was a native of Wuxing in Zhejiang (modern Huzhou). In his early years he studied law in Japan and took part in the revolution that overthrew the Qing dynasty. He later served on the Central Executive Committee and Central Political Affairs Committee of the Kuomintang, was a member of the Nationalist Government, and served as head of the Examination Yuan. He was also the author of The Fundamentals of the Principles of Sun Yat-sen and The People’s Revolution and Kuomintang. In his later years he studied Buddhism, also visiting India.
This work in running script is an excerpt from Discourse on Samantabhadra’s Beneficence Aspirations of the Avatamsaka Sutra. The force of the character forms derive from the Northern Stele tradition and the brushwork reveals many variations. The lines are fluid in a pure and elegant manner.
Mr. Li Chih-fang donated this work to the National Palace Museum in 1996.(20110204)
