內容簡介(英文)@#@Tung Tso-pin (style name Yantang, sobriquet Pinglu), a native of Nanyang, Henan, worked at the Institute of History and Philology in Academia Sinica after graduating from Peking University. Starting from the study of oracle bones at Yinxu to taking part in their excavation, and finally devoted to researching ancient writing, Tung’s achievements were praised by many, becoming known as one of the “Four Tangs of Oracle Bones” along with Wang Guowei (Guantang), Luo Zhenyu (Xuetang), and Guo Moruo (Dingtang). This is a copy of a section of oracle text on a turtle plastron shell, the contents recording a hunt. It preserves much of the archaic imagery of oracle bone script.
