民國曹容書錄孟子一則 軸
有若曰。豈惟民哉。麒麟之於走獸。鳳凰之於飛鳥。太山之於邱垤。河海之於行潦。類也。聖人之於民。亦類也。出於其類。拔乎其萃。自生民以來。未有盛於孔子也。澹廬曹容隸書。

- 參考資料收藏著錄@#@曹容先生遺贈書法目錄，頁29、47@#@@#@內容簡介（中文）@#@曹容（西元一八九五－一九九三年），臺北市人，原名阿澹，後易名容，字秋圃，號澹廬、半庵道人、菊癡、老嫌、海角耕夫，詩名水如。幼時師事何誥廷、陳作淦、陳祚年、張希袞諸耆宿。十八歲起在桃園龜崙嶺設館授徒，傳授書法達七十餘年。善使迴腕運筆法，以古篆隸書聞名，晚年傾意行草與楷書，風格古樸渾穆。此隸書軸為曹恕先生捐贈，用筆凝練厚重，結體平穩中寓變化，有平淡淳樸之美。(20120104)@#@@#@內容簡介（英文）@#@ Ts’ao Jung, a native of Taipei, originally was named A’dan and had the style name Qiupu with several sobriquets. Renowned in poetry, in childhood he studied with such elders as He Gaoting, Chen Zuogan, Chen Zuonian, and Zhang Xigun. At 18 he founded a school and accepted students at Guilunling at Taoyuan, teaching calligraphy for more than 70 years. He excelled at holding the brush with an inward-bent wrist, being famous for archaic seal and clerical scripts. In late years he was more inclined to semi-cursive and regular script, his archaic style simple and solemn. This scroll in clerical script, donated by Mr. Ts’ao Shu, has condensed and heavy brushwork, the character forms steady yet varied with unsophisticated yet simple beauty.(20120104)
