- 參考資料內容簡介（中文）@#@鄭孝胥（西元一八六O─一九三八年）字蘇戡，號海藏，福建閩南人。清光緒年間舉人，曾歷任廣西邊防大臣、湖南布政使等職。辛亥革命後以遺老自居。善詩文，書法早年學顏真卿、蘇軾，晚年轉習秦漢及魏碑，由遒麗奇肆，漸趨方正樸穆。 此幅行書聯文為：「清詩已入新歌舞，柴窯能出古瓷缸。」 本幅為張德粹先生捐贈。@#@@#@內容簡介（英文）@#@Cheng Hsiao-hsu, a native of Fukien province, was a civil service candidate in the Kuang-hsu reign (1875-1907). He went on to serve in such major positions as Kwangsi Frontier Commander and Hunan Administration Commissioner. After the Ch'ing was overthrown in 1911, he retired and lived on his own. He excelled at poetry and belles-lettres. In his early study of calligraphy, he followed the styles of Yen Chen-ch'ing and Su Shih. In later years, though, he turned to the stone stele script of the Ch'in, Han, and Wei dynasties-going gradually in style from powerful beauty to simple uprightness. Two 7-character lines of poetry have been divided into a pair of hanging scrolls to form a couplet here. This couplet was donated by Mr. Chang Te-ts'ui.
