本套劉墉仿前人筆意的行書作品為譚伯羽譚季甫先生昆仲捐贈文物,先前累經道州何氏與瀏陽劉善渥等人收藏,是劉墉八十歲時的晚年之作,原共十二幅,但根據觀款,民國二年於長沙買獲時已僅存八幅。
(20121017)@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@ Liu Yong (style name Chongru, sobriquet Shi’an), a native of Zhucheng, Shandong, was a Presented Scholar of 1751 and served up to Grand Academician of the Tiren Pavilion, being posthumously entitled Wenqing. His study of calligraphy began with the Yuan master Zhao Mengfu, taking Wei and Jin styles as his teacher for a solid archaic brush manner. This work in running script imitating the brush manners of ancient calligraphers was donated by Messrs. Tann Boyu and Tann Jifu. Previously in the collections of a Mr. He in Daozhou and Mr. Liu Shanwo in Liuyang, it is a late work by Liu from the age of 80 by Chinese reckoning. Originally 12 panels, the record of appreciation states that only 8 survived when it was bought in Changsha in 1913.
