收藏著錄@#@譚伯羽譚季甫先生昆仲捐贈文物目錄,頁190、318@#@@#@內容簡介(中文)@#@何紹基(西元一七九九─一八七三年),湖南道州(今道縣)人。字子貞,號東洲居士,晚號蝯叟。道光十六年(一八三六)進士,官編修。書法以顏真卿為根基,上溯周秦、兩漢篆隸,下至六朝南北碑,皆心追手摹,卓然自成一家。
此四屏行書,甚得其字如屈鐵枯藤之特色。並結字縱橫欹斜,從容又出於繩墨之外。
本幅為譚伯羽、譚季甫先生捐贈。@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@Ho Shao-chi was one of the most renowned calligraphers of the 19th century. He based his style on that of Yen Chen-ch'ing (709-785) and combined it with the seal and clerical styles of the Chou, Ch'in, and Han dynasties as well as the stele style of the Six Dynasties. His diligent copies led to the creation of a unique style.
In these four screens mounted as hanging scrolls, Ho Shao-chi's running script is like wrought iron and withered vines. The composition of the characters is unrestrained and somewhat slanting, as though free from established guidelines.
This work was donated to the Museum by Messrs. Tann Po-yu and Tann Chi-fu.
