- 參考資料收藏著錄@#@林宗毅先生林誠道先生父子捐贈書畫圖錄，頁152、201@#@@#@內容簡介（中文）@#@汪亞塵（1893-1983），名亞塵，號雲隱，浙江杭州人。1917年赴日本就讀於東京美術學校，歸國後任上海美術專科學校教授。早年留日從西洋繪畫入手，晚年精研中國畫，技法融合中西，善畫花鳥草蟲，為民國初年重要畫家及藝術教育家。 本幅畫雙雞立於花草叢間，沒骨重色，構圖筆墨精緻，書畫均佳。所提詩句，尤發深省。寫成於1945年。林誠道先生捐贈。@#@@#@內容簡介（英文）@#@Wang Ya-ch'en, sobriquet Yun-yin, was a native of Hangchow in Chekiang province. In 1917, he traveled to Japan and studied at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts. After returning to China , he taught at the Shanghai School of Art. In Japan , he began by studying Western painting, and in later years excelled at Chinese painting, fusing both Western and Chinese styles. He excelled at bird-and-flower and insect-and-grass subjects, becoming an important painter and educator. This work shows two chickens among grass. Done in the “boneless manner" with strong colors, the composition and brushwork stand out. In fact, the painting and calligraphy are both equally impressive. The verse is especially thought-provoking. Dated to 1945, this work was donated to the National Palace Museum by Mr. Lin Ch'eng-tao.
