Inside the brush strokes are woven Chinese magnolia, peony, plum flower, orchid, peach blossom, rose, wistaria, hydrangea, narcissus, begonia and fungus. The weave in this panel is tight and even and the lustre of the threads has been preserved like new. Only the forms of the flower petals, branches and leaves have been woven while the brush has been used to fill in the various details, thus combining the two techniques. With pleasantly restrained color, the work is a real masterpiece.
