他的作品有構圖繁密,筆墨蒼秀的特色。本幅畫山中寺院、村屋依著樹林丘壑錯落有致,雲霞棲留在其間。這是江蘇省江寧縣棲霞寺的全景。
@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@Ch’ien Wei-ch’eng, a native of Kiangsu, was the top civil service candidate of 1745 and went on to service in office. As a youth, he studied flower painting under his grandmother Ch’en Shu. He later also studied the landscape styles of Wang Meng and Wang Yuan-ch’i and learned from Tung Pang-ta, becoming a leading court artist at the time.
Ch’ien Wei-ch’eng’s works feature a tightly organized composition and vigorous yet elegant brushwork. In this painting is a depiction of a monastery and cottages that lean scattered on a mountainside. They sit among forested hills and valleys with clinging mists and clouds. This work represents a view of the scenery at Ch’i-hsia Temple near Nanking.

As a youth, he studied flower painting with his grandmother Chen Shu. He later studied the landscape styles of the Yuan artist Wang Meng and Wang Yuanqi of the early Qing, also receiving instruction from Dong Bangda to become a leading artist at the court then. His works feature tightly organized compositions and vigorous yet elegant brushwork.
This painting is an overview of Qixia Temple in Jiangsu. Here are forested hills and valleys with clinging mists and clouds, the temple and village buildings scattered to create an extremely serene and beautiful scene.

本作には江蘇の棲霞寺全景が描かれている。起伏に富んだ山河、うっそうとした樹木、たゆたい流れる雲、寺院や家屋などが描かれており、靜けさを湛える美しい眺めが広がっている。
