Children are portrayed playing in a garden. Some carry lanterns, some fly kites. Others light firecrackers or play made-up as Chung K’uei, the Demon Queller. The scene is filled with enjoyment. The album is unsigned, but judging from the refined, beautiful style and quality of the paintings, it could well be the work of a painter at the Ch’ing court. @#@@#@內容簡介（英文）@#@Peace and Joy Anonymous These works are from an album of 12 leaves that represents various festive scenes of women and children in garden setting as they play in the spring of a New Year. Some are shown with playing with lanterns, flying a kite, riding hobby horses, and playing with toys, reflecting the joy and leisure of this time of year. Judging from the exceptionally delicate and colorful style of these anonymous paintings, they appear to have been done by court artists sometime during the Ch’ing dynasty (1644-1911).
