叢柳茂盛的池塘邊,有位文士騎馬來訪,庭院內三位文士已聚萬柳堂中,即將興起文會的高潮。全幅不論楊柳、人物、房舍都以極細膩的筆法描繪,精緻清雅。@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@Chao Meng-fu, a scion of the Sung imperial house, was style-named Tzu-ang; his sobriquet was Sung-hsueh tao-jen. He excelled at paintings of landscapes, trees and rocks, and flowers and bamboo; he was especially noted for his depictions of people and horses.
Amounted gentleman who has come visiting stands waiting on a terrace next to a pond arched over with willow trees. Within the courtyard beyond, three gentlemen are about to reach the height of a literary gathering in a pavilion amidst thousand willows. All of the elements of the painting-willows, human figures, and buildings-are exquisitely rendered in elegant detail.
