@#@@#@內容簡介(中文)@#@趙伯駒(西元一一二○至一一八二年),宋太祖七世孫,字千里。建炎初官至浙東路鈐轄。善青綠山水及木石,兼工花卉翎毛,尤長於人物,是北宋重要的大畫家。
此幀江樓臥雪圖,筆墨工整細緻,屋舍以界畫出之,而白雪皚皚,枯樹雪枝,予人以相當的寒意。以留白表現雪境,頗為成功。畫幅右上角有趙伯駒「千里」二字的杯形圖章,表現了宋人圖章造型的特質。@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@Chao Po-chu(style name Ch'ien-li) was a direct seventh generation descendant of the Sung emperor T'ai-tsu. He served as military administrator of infantry and cavalry in Che-tung, Chekiang. As a painter, he excelled in blue-green landscapes, flower and bird paintings, renditions of figures, and ruled-line architectural subjects. Chao became famed as a leading Northern Sung artist.
In this work, brush and ink have been meticulously handled. The dwellings were rendered in the ruled and measured technique used for architectural structures. Through the brilliance of icy whiteness, withered trees and snowy limbs, the artist has conjured up considerable feelings of cold. He chose to leave blank white areas to represent the snow, and this has been quite successfully done. In the upper right corner of the painting is the cup-shaped seal of Chao Po- chu, with the two characters ch'ien li, or “a thousand miles”.
