本幅採平遠的佈局法,畫湖山村家,間雜以翠竹、桃花、楊柳,綠水相通,一片春景,引人入勝。
@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@Wang Ching-ming, tzu (style name) Tan-ssu, was a native of Chia-ting in Kiangsu province. In 1707, when the emperor K’ang-hsi went on an inspection tour in the south, Wang submitted his poems and paintings and won the emperor’s appreciation. He took his chin-shih degree in 1713 and thereafter served at the court under the emperor’s patronage. He studied painting under Wang Yűan-ch’i, however, there permeates in his paintings the refinement of a man of letters.This painting adopts level distance composition, in which village houses sit beside lake and mountains. In this spring scene bamboos are ever greener, peach blossoms are in full bloom and willows softly sway in breeze. Such a quiet and charming scene strongly invites us to ramble thereinto.
