本幅倣曹知白(西元一二七二-一二五五年)秋林書屋,筆簡墨淡,較雲西更多一分拙趣。
@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@Tung Ch'i-ch'ang (style name Hsuan-tsai; sobriquet Ssu-po) was a native of Sungkiang, Kiangsu. He excelled at painting and calligraphy and was an excellent connoisseur. The brushwork in his landscape paintings is pure, forming his own individual style.
This painting is in imitation of Ts’ao Chih-po’s (1272-1355) “Studio in the Autumn Woods” and rendered with abbreviated brushwork and light ink. Tung’s version has slightly more animated awkwardness than Ts’ao’s style.
