His landscape style was after those of Chao Ch’ien-li, Chao Meng-fu and Wen Cheng-ming. This picture depicts a scene of a mountain village in early spring. The stream flows smoothly through flourishing bamboo groves. A man has just left the boat mooring in the shade of the bamboo, and is heading for the distant village. The willow trees have not sprouted yet while the peach trees are already blossoming luxuriantly. The colorful flowers make the village bright and fascinating.
