梁同書為清代乾嘉時期重要書家,初學顏柳,中年取法米芾,以後融匯貫通,因時代書風、師承和家世的因素,宗尚董其昌帖學派,成就其精微而嚴謹的書體風貌,與劉墉、翁方綱、王文治並稱清代四大家。
本幅作於癸卯(一七八三)年,書柳宗元〈桂州訾家洲亭記〉。(20110101)@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@ Liang Tongshu, a native of Qiantang (modern Hangzhou, Zhejiang) was a Presented Scholar (jinshi) of 1752 who served to the posts of Reader- and Expositor-in-Waiting. He was also a major calligrapher of the Qing eras of Qianlong and Jiaqing. At first he studied the Yan Zhenqing and Liu Gongquan styles, in middle years learning from Mi Fu’s before finally achieving a synthesis of them. Due to elements of period style, his teachers, and family, he admired the modelbook school of Dong Qichang, achieving the appearance of a refined and exacting style. With Liu Yong, Weng Fangwang, and Wang Wenzhi, he was known as one of the Four Qing Masters. This work from 1783 transcribes Liu Zongyuan’s Record of the Zijiazhou Pavilion at Guizhou.(20110101)
