- 參考資料內容簡介（中文）@#@查士標（西元一六一五－一六九八年），字二瞻，號梅壑。安徽休寧人，流寓江蘇揚州。明朝亡後，棄科舉專事書畫。書法上學米芾，卻似董其昌。畫初學倪瓚，後參吳鎮，頗得元人意趣。 本行書軸節錄臨寫顏真卿〈祭姪文稿〉，文云：「每慰人心，方期戩榖。余時受命平原。仁兄愛我，俾爾傳言。」結體筆法皆得顏氏筆意，卻別有一番清雅筆調，足見查氏臨寫書法上的紮實功夫。本幅為蘭千山館寄存 @#@@#@內容簡介（英文）@#@Ch’a Shih-piao, native to Hsiu-ning, Anhwei, lived in Yangchow, Kiangsu. After the Ming fall in 1644, he gave up the civil service examinations and devoted himself to painting and calligraphy. In the latter he studied Mi Fu’s style but also was similar to Tung Ch’i-ch’ang’s. In painting he followed Ni Tsan’s style at first, but later added elements of Wu Chen’s for a Yuan literati style. This scroll of running script entrusted from the Lan-ch’ien shan-kuan collection is a copy from Yen Chen-ch’ing’s “Draft of a Requiem to My Nephew,” recounting with grief the death of Yen’s loyal cousin and nephew at the hands of rebels. The characters and brushwork are all in Yen’s style, but with a pure and elegant overtone that still reflects Ch’a’s solid training in copying.
