@#@@#@內容簡介(英文)@#@Yun Shouping, originally named Ge, had the style name Shouping, by which he later went. He then changed his style name to Zhengshu. He also had the sobriquets Nantian and Baiyun waishi. In flower painting, he followed the “boneless” ink wash method of the Northern Song artist Xu Chongsi, developing his own manner in what became known as the Changzhou School.
This album, entrusted to the National Palace Museum from the Lanqian shanguan collection, features twelve leaves depicting such plants and trees as the lotus, wisteria, and loquat. The subjects in this album were mostly done in the “sketching ideas” or “boneless” methods. The coloring is classically elegant as well as pure and refined, making it quite similar to the works of Yun Shouping. The inscription contents and seal impressions on the work also suggest that this album comes from the hand of Yun Shouping, but the calligraphy of the signature is slightly stiff, perhaps appearing to be an imitation by a later hand.
