Found in every Paminggir home in Lampung Province, the Tampan is a ceremonial cloth with a ship motif used for major ceremonies. The hand-twisted cotton fabric is woven from red weft yarn and features a large ship of two to three levels that are filled with human figures and animals and surrounded by a number of small boats and waves in a decorative pattern.
